Cervical Cancer Prevention
Posted or Updated on 29 Apr 2024
This week is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week. Every day in the UK, 2 women lose their lives to cervical cancer and 9 more receive a life-changing diagnosis.
Ending cervical cancer means increasing awareness and uptake of the HPV vaccination and cervical screening. It also means action to help prevent even more cases and improve how those with cervical cancer are diagnosed, treated and cared for those living with and beyond cervical cancer.
Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK's leading cervical cancer charity dedicated to helping those affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. It offers a range of free and trustworthy online and face to face support, information and campaign for change to support those who need it every step of the way. Support services include an online forum, confidentially ask the expert service, information events and a free UK helpline -
0808 802 8000.
Please call to book an appointment for a cervical smear test. We do have some appointments that can be booked online.
